Habib Beye is the first Marseille coach since 2005 to lose three of his opening seven matches, according to Stats Foot.
Olympique de Marseille were beaten 1-2 at Monaco on Sunday in Ligue 1, the fixture closing matchday 28.

The run includes a 0-2 defeat at Brest on 20 February, then a 1-2 reverse at home to Lille on 22 March.
Beye, a 48-year-old Senegalese, was appointed on 18 February 2026.
Back in 2005, Jean Fernandez began the 2005-06 season with three defeats in his first four games, against Bordeaux 0-2, Lens 0-2 and Rennes 2-3.
