Hamza Igamane at AFCON 2025 with Morocco? It's highly uncertain with less than two weeks to go before the tournament kicks off.

After joining LOSC last summer, Hamza Igamane has become the number one attacking threat for the Dogues since the start of the season. Unfortunately for the northern club, the Moroccan striker is likely to be sidelined for a while. This comes after he was forced off with an injury during the hard-fought win over OM (1-0). Addressing the issue in a press conference, Bruno Genesio even cast doubt on the player's participation in the upcoming AFCON 2025.

“Hamza Igamane came off prematurely against Marseille, feeling pain in his groin. As for how long he'll be out, I can't say more at this stage. A decision about the AFCON will be made in full coordination between both medical staffs, Morocco's and ours. It's hard to give a timeline,” he revealed ahead of tomorrow's Europa League clash against Young Boys.
