Hansi Flick sends heartfelt message to Las Palmas star Kirian | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has sent a message of encouragement the way of Las Palmas star Kirian Rodríguez.

This comes ahead of Barcelona’s upcoming meeting with Los Amarillos.

Midfielder Kirian was for his part forced to call a premature end to what had been a fine individual season to date, earlier this month.

As much comes after the 28-year-old announced that he had suffered a relapse with cancer.

Messages of support had since come pouring in for Kirian, from across the Spanish football landscape and beyond.

And as alluded to above, on Friday, such messages have been added to by Hansi Flick.

Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Las Palmas on Saturday evening, Barcelona’s headmaster was drawn on Kirian’s situation.

And the German tactician made use of the opportunity to send a classy message the way of El Pio-Pio’s captain:

“We are all thinking about Kirian. He is in a difficult situation. We are giving him and his family all of our support. Health is the most important thing.”
