FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick desperately need to make sure they make the right decisions in this crucial part of the season. For La Blaugrana, it is now all about focus and making sure they do things right. However, with big games coming up ahead, it is essential for Hansi Flick and his Barcelona team to be as careful as possible.
Up next for the Catalan giants is a Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid, and it is essentially a great opportunity to win another major title. One game decides the title, and Barcelona will want to make sure that they are the side lifting it up by the end of the game.
Having already defeated Los Blancos in a cup final this season, Barça do have a good record against Real Madrid so far in the two games that they have placed against them. However, each game is a new opportunity, even though it also means new headaches to address as well for the coach.
This time around, the headache that Hansi Flick must address is one that revolves around one of the starting positions in the team for the game against Real Madrid. As highlighted by MARCA, that particular decision involves both Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez.
With both players offering their own qualities as the team’s starting central attacking midfield, Flick now has to decide which of the two gets to start against Real Madrid. While Lopez offers intensity and undeniable work-rate, Olmo offers his own special qualities.

In terms of being a clinical finisher in front of goal, Olmo tends to offer a lot more versatility and danger to the opposition goal. Moreover, with Robert Lewandowski injured, that could potentially be the kind of asset that Hansi Flick would want in his starting eleven.
However, one player who is definitely set to miss out on this game is Alejandro Balde. The Spanish left-back is still not fully fit and could be saved for a potential return against Inter Milan. As for this upcoming final, Olmo and Fermin Lopez present the biggest headache for Hansi Flick to deal with.
Yet, with a game against Inter Milan coming up right afterwards, there are decisions to be made in regards to starting certain players off the bench as well potentially. Dani Olmo could be one of them, but he also is too important to not be a starter. Either way, it seems that Gavi’s chances of starting are less likely than both Olmo and Lopez for now.
