They don't call Mark Noble 'Mr West Ham' for nothing.
Noble was the East End kid who came good, making his way through the ranks at Upton Park before eventually captaining the team he supported as a child.
Getting his first goal for West Ham then, was a huge moment in Noble's career and that strike came exactly 18 years ago today.
The Hammers beat Brighton 3-0 in the third round of the FA Cup with Noble breaking the deadlock just after half time.
Noble would go on to make 550 appearances for the club as is now one of their sporting directors.
