Phenomenal with his left foot, a force of nature: Roberto Carlos da Silva Rocha was one of the greatest full-backs in football history. Born in Garça, Brazil, on April 10, 1973, Roberto Carlos turns 53 today.
The Brazilian made his first move to Europe with Inter. Arriving in the summer of 1995, he impressed Inter fans right from the start. He scored four goals in his first four appearances for the Nerazzurri, including a decisive free-kick goal on the opening day of Serie A, the same day Javier Zanetti made his Inter debut.

Although he spent just the 1995/96 season at Inter, he left a lasting impression, playing 34 matches and scoring seven goals for the Nerazzurri.
