Has Viktor Gyökeres finally arrived at Arsenal? 🔥 | OneFootball

After arriving from Sporting Lisbon, Viktor Gyökeres was primed to deliver the goals for Arsenal. And it's taken some time, but now he appears to be returning to his decisive form under Mikel Arteta's leadership. 

The 27-year-old striker was recently named the club's January Player of the Month, and now, one week into February, is racking up the goals again. 

Gyökeres came off the bench on Saturday and six minutes in against Sunderland doubled the lead, before netting a brace on the stroke of full-time as the Gunners won 3-0. 

It means he now has four goals in four games across all competitions, is the club's leading scorer, and is also the Premier League player with the most goals in 2026 so far (six). 

Arsenal fans will be happy he's found his confidence as they sit nine points clear at the top of the table.
