Arsenal faced off against Paris Saint-Germain at the Puskas Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result in the UEFA Champions League final. The Gunners made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the fifth minute thanks to Kai Havertz’s effort. Mikel Arteta’s men defended their lead well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Ousmane Dembele equalised for PSG from the penalty spot in the 64th minute as the contest finished 1-1 after the full-time whistle. Both teams cancelled each other out in extra time as the match went to penalties. Arsenal ended up losing the shootout by a 4-3 margin following missed spot-kicks from Eberechi Eze and Gabriel.
