An insight into some of the details of the contract awaiting Trent Alexander-Arnold at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Monday been provided.

The name of defender Alexander-Arnold has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines across Europe over the course of the day to date.

This comes after the 26-year-old at last made official his long-rumoured incoming departure from Liverpool.

In a post across his social media platforms, Alexander-Arnold confirmed that he will leave Anfield upon the expiration of his contract in the summer.

The right-back is all set to take his talents to Spain with the aforementioned Real Madrid, where he will battle it out for minutes with Dani Carvajal next season.

And as alluded to above, this afternoon, an insight into the contract terms awaiting Alexander-Arnold at the Santiago Bernabéu has also been forthcoming.

As per transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the England international is set to put pen to paper on a five-year deal with Real Madrid:
