How Real Madrid plan to respond to Man United taking the lead in Leny Yoro race | OneFootball

An insight into the plans of the powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid amid their ongoing efforts to bring in Lille sensation Leny Yoro has on Tuesday night been provided.

The name of defender Yoro has of course reemerged front and centre in the headlines across all of Europe over the course of the day to date.

This comes amid claims that the Frenchman is all of a sudden giving consideration to joining Manchester United.

The Red Devils last week saw a bid for Yoro accepted by Lille, who are understandably keen to sell to the highest bidder.

The problem for the Old Trafford brass, however, is that until at this point, the 18-year-old himself has refused to budge in his stance that he wants to join Real Madrid.

It therefore came as a significant development when word was forthcoming that Yoro, amid concerns over the lack of progress in his move to La Liga, had opened to the prospect of linking up with United.

So, how do Real Madrid themselves intend to respond to such news?

In an update which will no doubt come as music to the ears of those of a Blancos persuasion, with action…

As per French transfer insider Fabrice Hawkins:

‘Real Madrid will make a new offer for Leny Yoro’, after seeing their opening proposal rejected.

It is also reiterated that, despite the ongoing chatter, the gifted stopper ‘will always give his priority’ to a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.
