With the first six weeks of the Serie A season completed, the Opta Supercomputer has updated its Scudetto predictions, including a Milan surge ahead of Juventus.
There have been some surprising results already in the league and none of the teams are still unbeaten, leading to a very balanced table.
That included back-to-back defeats for Inter against Udinese and Juventus, but that hasn’t changed the overall Opta prediction that they will eventually top the table.

Their odds of winning the Serie A title have changed, from 35.9 per cent to just 28.46 per cent, but the Nerazzurri are still the favourites.
Napoli have climbed significantly from 13.7 per cent chance to 24.71 per cent, with Roma moving from 9.9 per cent to 17.41 per cent.
The big change is that Milan have leapfrogged Juventus in the predicted standings, snatching that crucial fourth place and Champions League qualification.
Their title chances now stand at 11.51 per cent compared to Juve’s 7.83 per cent.
Those are big shifts from Milan’s pre-season 6.7 per cent and Juve’s 8.2 per cent.
