Scott McKenna is a doubt for Scotland, but Steve Clarke’s team are otherwise in strong shape.
Morocco should have a fully fit squad to choose from.
Scotland (4-4-2): Gunn; Hickey, Hendry, Hanley, Robertson; Gannon-Doak, Ferguson, McTominay, McGinn; Adams, Shankland
Morocco (4-2-3-1): Bono; Hakimi, Diop, Riad, Mazraoui; El Aynaoui, Bouaddi; Diaz, Ounahi, El Khannouss; Saibari
Scotland picked up their first World Cup win since 1990 against Haiti, with John McGinn’s goal securing a 1-0 victory to put Clarke’s side top of their group.
Morocco put in an impressive performance against five-time World Cup winners Brazil in their first game to get a 1-1 draw.
Scotland boss Steve Clarke: “We are under no illusion about the size of the task. I feel Morocco are a really, really good side. They reached the last four of the last World Cup and I have a feeling this Morocco team is slightly better than that, so that gives you an idea of the task ahead.
“They have power, they have pace, they have little bits of skill that can open up a game. For me they are the real deal, a top side. We will have to be at our very best to compete.”
Morocco manager Mohamed Ouahbi: “The physical challenge from the Scots will be present in second balls or aerial play. Brazil were also physically strong, but we need to stay in a compact mass for as long as possible to have as many players as possible around the ball. We have a plan.
“We need to control the game and keep our composure to avoid it turning into a series of quick counter-attacks from both sides. We shouldn’t get too nervous. It’s football; we have players in the Premier League, and they excel in that aspect, but we excel in other things as well.”
