Spurs hope to continue promising form after Brentford win
Tottenham are back in Champions League action tonight as they host Slavia Prague in N17.
For the first time in a while, there is a good feeling about Hotspur Stadium after Spurs produced one of their better performances this season to beat Brentford 2-0 last weekend.
Xavi Simons finally found the back of the net for the first time in that match, and Thomas Frank seems finally to have struck gold on an attacking formula.
Slavia Prague, meanwhile, have already been beaten by a north London side in the Champions League this season. They were on the receiving end of a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Arsenal earlier in the campaign.
Goalless draws with Atalanta and Athletic Club came on either side of that result.
The Czech outfit are currently winless in the competition, but they are presently top of Czech First League - Spurs cannot take them lightly.
The hosts will, however, be without Destiny Udogie for the tie, with the defender ruled out until January with a new hamstring issue. Brennan Johnson may also miss out, with Frank describing hsi fitness as “touch and go.”
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports 1, with coverage starting at 7pm GMT.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Discovery+ app and website.
Live blog: You can follow all the action on matchday via Standard Sport’s live blog, with expert analysis from Matt Verri at the ground.
