Leeds United loanee Largie Ramazani sidestepped a question on his long-term future after scoring in Valencia’s 2-1 win over Girona, amid talk of a permanent move.

The 25-year-old joined on a season-long loan last summer, with minutes at Leeds scarce after promotion to the Premier League. He struggled early, then returned from injury to earn a place, scoring his first on 24 January with a stoppage-time penalty at Espanyol before adding five more in 11 La Liga games, the latest on Saturday. El Desmarque reports that Valencia want to make the move permanent and have sounded out his plans.

Asked about a permanent switch, he said: "We'll do the analysis at the end of the season, and I'm going to continue like this, as I have been." "I have ambition and I'm going to work until the end of the season."

Leeds did not include an option to buy in the loan, so he is due back in West Yorkshire this summer as it stands. Any Valencia bid would need to meet Elland Road’s demands, and there has been no prior indication Leeds want to sell. Ramazani signed a four-year deal in summer 2024, leaving two years on his contract on return.

Valencia have five league games left with little jeopardy or European hope. Ramazani will look to add to his tally before decisions are made on his future. Leeds applied a similar no-buy stance with Mateo Joseph, who is sidelined by an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
