‘I love this team’ – Luis Enrique reveals his appreciation for Hansi Flick’s Barcelona | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has moved to reveal his appreciation for the ongoing excellence of La Liga heavyweights Barcelona.

This of course comes ahead of the upcoming showdown between the two European heavyweights.

Barca and PSG are primed to lock horns on the continent later this evening.

In the respective clubs’ 2nd fixtures of the 2025/26 Champions League campaign, the former will welcome the reigning tournament holders to Catalunya’s capital.

The fixture marks a return to Barcelona for the aforementioned Luis Enrique, who spent time as both a player and manager at the Camp Nou.

Speaking to the media in anticipation of the clash over the last 24 hours, the Spanish tactician was therefore asked for his take on Hansi Flick’s current Blaugrana side.

And Enrique made use of the opportunity to lavish praise on the reigning La Liga champions:

“The only thing I want to say is that I have loved this team led by Flick from the beginning, because he brought back the footballing idea that characterizes Barcelona. It is a team I love watching. You know that I am a Socio (club member), I am a fan and I follow all of Barcelona’s matches, and it is a team I love watching because it entertains me a lot.”
