I puzzled which Newcastle strike would win April 2025 Premier League goal of the month – Hmmm | OneFootball

I must admit, I was curious about the latest Premier League goal of the month contest.

I don’t usually take too much interest but I was intrigued to see which Newcastle United strike would come out on top.

United had loads of great goals in April 2025, well of course having said that, ALL Newcastle goals are obviously great.

However, some are especially great.

I take it that the 18 Premier League goals that Newcastle United scored in April 2025 was more than any other PL team this month.

However, I wasn’t greedy, I was just interested to see how two of those eighteen Newcastle United goals would get on.

Earlier today I saw that Harvey Barnes and Jacob Murphy were amongst the nominations for April 2025 Premier League player of the month, whilst Eddie Howe is one five nominations for manager of he month.

So what about April 2025 Premier League goal of the month, would it be just the two Newcastle United nominations, or could it be even more…?

I don’t think it is a case of getting angry about this kind of thing, when Newcastle United are overlooked.

I think more a case of simple bemusement, maybe stunned is the best word to describe how I feel, you know, like the Brentford and Palace keepers were!!!

Yes, Sandro Tonali and Jacob Murphy with absolutely audacious strikes.

I was thinking both were contenders for Premier League goal of the season, yet ‘somebody’ has decided they aren’t even contenders to be nominated for the month of April 2025!
