Igor Paixão is on the radar of both Liverpool and Arsenal, according to reports from CaughtOffside (via VoetbalPrimeur).
Sources close to the Feyenoord man told the news site that the 24-year-old has impressed scouts at both clubs, yet they may face heavy competition for his signature as it is believed that Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, West Ham United and AS Roma are all among the other outfits interested in Paixão.
With recent performances this season reflecting five goals and 13 assists for Paixão in all competitions, the Brazilian could leave Feyenoord for an amount reportedly between 30 and 35 million euros. However, the Rotterdam club have the diminutive speedster under contract until the summer of 2029 and thus seemingly still hold most of the cards in the deal.
No offers or subsequent talks have taken place from any interested parties. However, it is understood that Arsenal and Liverpool have received positive feedback about Paixão from their scouts. Arsenal seem interested with the injury to Bukayo Saka in mind.
At Liverpool, Paixão has perhaps emerged may as a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah. Arne Slot will need little reminding of his ability – having brought him to De Kuip from Coritiba in 2022.
