Iñaki Williams paid tribute to his brother Nico after Spain’s 2026 World Cup triumph, highlighting the pride their story brings to immigrant families.

Spain beat Argentina 1-0 after extra time on Sunday. In a post on X, Iñaki said Nico had made millions of immigrants, including their parents, feel proud.

He said his brother’s rise could inspire future generations, and that his achievement showed what hard work and effort can make possible.

The brothers have taken different international paths. Iñaki, 32, was born in Bilbao and chose Ghana in 2022 after one Spain cap in 2016. He has 28 caps and two goals for Ghana.

Nico, 24, was born in Pamplona and has represented Spain since 2022, winning Euro 2024 before the World Cup. He has 36 caps and six goals.
