Having signed the 23-year-old in a £16 million deal from Middlesbrough, Villa are expected to demand around £80 million to sanction his exit in the upcoming window.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and even Paris Saint-Germain have all established their interest in signing Rogers, who has yet to indicate any preference over where he’d like to ply his trade next.
In regard to how Rogers has fared in claret and blue, he has returned a hugely impressive 31 goals and 29 assists in 125 appearances across all competitions.
Premier League-wise, the former Manchester City academy prospect has found the back of the net 21 times and contributed a further 19 assists in the 85 matches he’s played, which is a pretty stellar record for such a young player.
One factor that may sway him towards Old Trafford is that the move would see him reunite with his former Boro manager, Michael Carrick.

It was confirmed last week that Carrick’s outstanding form since taking charge on an interim basis in January has seen him rewarded with a permanent contract.
