Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Timothy Weah, Dusan Vlahovic or Douglas Luiz in a direct exchange for Jadon Sancho.
Indeed, Juventus are looking to make negotiations as straightforward as possible by completing a swap deal with the Red Devils, with Sancho’s heart now set on a move to Turin following his Chelsea departure.
Additionally, with United adamant that the player has no future at Old Trafford and keen to get him off their books once and for all, they are reportedly open to the proposal Juventus have tabled.

Of the trio made available to them, Luiz is seen as the more attractive option – likely due to his Premier League experience, as he racked up 175 top-flight appearances over five seasons with Aston Villa.
He departed for the Serie A outfit last summer after playing an integral role in Villa securing Champions League qualification; Alan Shearer said of the Brazilian when he netted a brace in a 4-1 win over West Ham in October 2023: “He really led his team well. He’s been laying the foundations for Villa’s success this season.”
As such, you’d have thought such eye-catching form would’ve carried over to Italy with Luiz, but his Juventus tenure hasn’t panned out even half the way he hoped it would have.
The 27-year-old made just three league starts across 2024/2025 and three more in the Champions League. He featured in 27 matches in all competitions and for a total of only 832 minutes.
In the Club World Cup, Luiz played 45 minutes of Juventus’ opening fixture against Al Ain off the bench and was an unused substitute for their subsequent three fixtures, the final of which saw them exit the competition in the last-16 following a 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid.
Alas, it’s safe to say a return to England will pose a tempting route for the midfielder. Corriere dello Sport claims United are ‘thinking about’ the offer, though Luiz’s stance remains to be seen.
