Inter have not abandoned their pursuit of Manu Koné and, after last summer’s attempt, are preparing a new push to snatch the midfielder from Roma.
Inter coach Cristian Chivu has identified the 2001-born player as the ideal candidate to strengthen the midfield, prompting the Milan management to develop a strategy that could convince the Giallorossi club to let go of Koné.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Inter are considering bringing in a counterpart. For weeks, Frattesi was rumored, but in the last few hours, Pavard’s name has emerged.
The French defender, currently on loan at Marseille, is expected to leave Inter next summer and could be useful to Roma, who are set to lose some defensive players in the coming months.
The deal is reportedly worth around €25 million plus the price of Pavard, whose value hovers around €15 million.
The deal remains to be evaluated, however, with the Frenchman’s €6.6 million per season salary remaining the biggest obstacle.
