Inter complete an incredible comeback to beat Como 3-2 and book their place in the Coppa Italia final. A night to remember, as this dramatic win comes after a 0-0 draw in the first leg. Inter now head to the final in Rome on May 13th, where they’ll face either Lazio or Atalanta.
Como went ahead in the first half through Baturina, with the visitors doubling their lead at the start of the second half through Da Cunha. But San Siro is a stadium like no other, with some of the most passionate fans in the world. And little by little, with every chant and every roar, they pushed a united, proud and determined team forward. It was Hakan Calhanoglu again. First his trademark right-footed strike, then the equaliser. He made it 2-2 with a header in the 86th minute. Three minutes later, pure euphoria: Sucic’s right-footed finish to complete the comeback. 3-2, and Inter are through to the Coppa Italia final.
