Inter are closely monitoring the progress of midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic at Club Brugge, with the option to bring him back to Milan set at €22 million in summer 2025 or €25 million in 2027.
This latest comes from Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
The Nerazzurri banked €10 million from his sale but the intention inside the club is to keep the door open for a return if his development continues on its current trajectory.
Stankovic has quickly become a staple in Nicky Hayen’s setup, earning the coach’s trust from the outset.
The Serbian has delivered consistently strong performances, notably in the Champions League, that have raised his profile.
His excellent start to the campaign also earned a first senior Serbia call-up.
The midfielder revealed that Federico Dimarco was the first to congratulate him after the national-team summons.
The pair share representation with Roc Nation Sports and maintain a close relationship: “We’re good friends. He knows how much I love Serbia and was very happy,” Stankovic noted.

After formative years in Inter’s academy and a valuable step in senior football with Luzern, Stankovic is aiming for definitive consolidation at the top level.
This is a path he hopes will ultimately lead him back to the Nerazzurri, following in the footsteps of his father.
Inside Inter, the interest is tangible not only at Viale della Liberazione.
Also at Appiano Gentile, where Cristian Chivu, who coached him in the Primavera, is tracking him closely.
Assistant Aleksandar Kolarov, who worked with him in Serbia U21, is another strong advocate.
As things stand, Stankovic’s steady rise has positioned him as a genuine candidate for a future return to Inter.
