Despite losing Denzel Dumfries to a hamstring injury, Inter Milan have welcomed Matteo Darmian and Nicola Zalewski back to the team.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the duo’s return from injuries can put the smile back on Simone Inzaghi’s face.
It’s been a rough start to the calendar year for the reigning Serie A champions.
Although Inter’s on-field success never ceases to amaze, personnel problems keep piling up for Inzaghi.

Needless to say, Denzel Dumfries has been phenomenal this season.
Therefore, his absence is a massive blow for the Nerazzurri ahead of the 2024/25 campaign’s crunch time.
However, there’s no shortage of backup options.
Indeed, Darmian can cover for the Dutchman now that he is back to full fitness.
Furthermore, Zalewski can operate on both flanks, handing Inzaghi an additional alternative.
Yann Bisseck can also take Dumfries’ place, having proved capable of playing on the wing in recent matches.
