Nottingham Forest continue to track Davide Frattesi, but Inter have no intention of lowering their valuation as the window nears its close.
The situation remains unresolved, with the midfielder still waiting for clarity over his role.
Frattesi again started on the bench in Dortmund, as Tuttosport highlight, via FCInterNews, underlining a season-long pattern.
His last and only Serie A start came on October 4 against Cremonese, 16 matchdays ago.
Since then, he has made only scattered appearances, including games against Union and Kairat in the Champions League and a Coppa Italia outing versus Venezia.

Those limited minutes have raised concerns beyond club level.
Italy coach Gennaro Gattuso reportedly watches the situation closely, aware that Frattesi needs consistent playing time to stay in the international picture.
Despite the lack of opportunities, no concrete solution has emerged in the market.
Nottingham Forest remain interested, but Inter will only consider a serious offer.
Atletico Madrid have also reportedly reopened their interest in the Italian.
Inter’s position has hardened further due to current midfield absences, with Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella both unavailable.
Frattesi waits for developments as the deadline approaches.
Whether that brings a late move or another spell of patience at San Siro remains to be seen, but Inter will not compromise easily on their valuation.
