Inter Milan prefer a move for Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund over signing Jonathan David on a free transfer this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908.
One thing that seems very clear is that Inter Milan will sign at least one striker this summer.
With Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa gone as their contracts expire, and the future of Mehdi Taremi uncertain, Inter must bolster the attacking depth.
And the priority for the Nerazzurri in this sense is clear. They want to bring in a younger striker with room for growth rather than another veteran.

There are a few targets on Inter’s radars as far as young strikers.
One that has been clear for a while is Jonathan David. Inter’s penchant for free transfer signings is hardly a secret. And the Canadian international will certainly be a major opportunity this summer.
However, reports the Gazzetta, Inter in fact prefer a move for Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United.
The 22-year-old Denmark international had had a couple of underwhelming seasons at Old Trafford.
However, the Nerazzurri still believe that Hojlund can come in and have a big impact based on his time at Atalanta.
