Inter Milan Sporting Director Courted By Saudi Giants But Likely To Stay | OneFootball

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio is reportedly expected to stay with the Nerazzurri, despite interest from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

The Saudi outfit identified Ausilio as an ideal candidate for their vacant role.

Former Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi joined Al-Hilal in the summer and the club looked determined to bring Ausilio with him.

However, the latest reports from transfer expert Matteo Moretto, via FCInter1908, claim that Ausilio is fully committed to Inter.

Ausilio To Stay At Inter Milan Despite Al-Hilal Interest

Ausilio is ‘totally involved’ in the Nerazzurri project and therefore will likely stay in Lombardy.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal are not prepared to give up.

They have already offered the sporting director a significant package in order to tempt him away from Italy.

However, cohesion off the field at Inter is improving.

For now, Ausilio remains focused on the task at hand: determining the next steps as Inter look to the future.
