Abdukodir Khusanov and Antoine Semenyo starred for their national teams.
Semenyo racked up 90 minutes for Ghana as they played out a 2-1 loss to Germany.
The City winger created several chances in the opening 30 minutes and was a constant threat to the Germany defence.

Despite Semenyo’s best efforts, Kai Havertz broke the deadlock moments before the half-time whistle.
The Arsenal forward fired home from the spot after Florian Wirtz’s effort hit Adjetey at close range and in an unnatural position.
Ghana responded well after the break with the City star again going close.
Semenyo forced himself in behind and pulled the ball back towards Prince Adu on the six yard box. The Viktoria Plzen forward looked to turn the ball home but Schlotterbeck got his body angle right and turned it behind.

A 66th minute introduction of Abdul Fatawu, however, would turn the game on it’s head.
The Leicester City forward has nine Championship goals to his name this season and it would take just four minutes from his introduction to haul Ghana level.
Vagnoman cut into the penalty area and with all the time in the world picked out Fatawu, who was left unmarked, and swept the ball into the bottom corner with virtually his first touch.
Deniz Undav then slotted home on the 88th minute to see Germany take the lead with former City star Leroy Sane providing the assist.
Khusanov also played the full 90 of Uzbekistan’s penalty win over Venezuela at the Milliy stadioni.
Following a 0-0 scoreline after full-time, the two sides went head-to-head in a penalty shoot-out, with Uzbekistan coming out 5-4 victors.
