Inter Milan got a big win yesterday against Monza. It was vital for the Nerazzurri to take three points in the Serie A title race.

It was veteran former West Ham United and Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic who led the comeback.

The 35-year-old headed home just before the interval to kick off the comeback.

In the second half, goals from Hakan Calhanoglu and a Giorgios Kyriakopoulos own goal sealed the dramatic comeback win for the Nerazzurri.

That put Inter four points clear at the top of the table. At least before Napoli play their match against Fiorentina today. Meanwhile, Juventus take on Atalanta in a six-pointed later today as well.

“We know what he can give to us. And tonight, he did very well along with his teammates to come back in a match that wasn’t easy.”

Inzaghi added that “obviously the guys have to stay united.”

“And I have to use the resources I have available as much as possible, and try to get back all the players from injury.”

“Because it will be a very long season,” cautioned Inzaghi.

“We’ll end up reaching sixty matches with the Club World Cup,” the Inter coach noted.

“It’s a new season for everyone. And we have to get back players, as well as mental energy. Because travelling so much is not easy.”

And Inzaghi made clear that there will “absolutely” be more squad rotation going forward. “Because I will need to use it, and I will pick the team specifically for each match.”
