Juventus are keeping tabs on Arijanet Muric during his loan spell with Sassuolo
Ipswich Town goalkeeper Arijanet Muric is attracting transfer interest from Italian giants Juventus while on loan with Sassuolo.
According to Tuttosport, the Serie A club are monitoring the shot-stopper amid his impressive form as part of his loan agreement.
The Kosovo international joined the top flight team on a temporary basis in the summer, and has so far proven a regular part of their squad.
The 27-year-old has featured 17 times in the league for Fabio Grosso’s side as they sit 10th in the table.
Muric joined Ipswich in the 2024 summer window from Burnley, and was initially first-choice in Kieran McKenna’s side before losing his place in the starting lineup in the second half of their Premier League campaign.

It has been reported in Italy that Muric has emerged as a potential transfer target for Juventus following his form in Grosso’s side.
Muric has earned a lot of praise as a standout performer for Sassuolo, which has caught the attention of the Turin outfit.
The goalkeeper has kept four clean sheets from 17 appearances in Serie A, conceding 20 times, with the team competing for a potential European place for next season.
Muric was loaned out after losing his place in McKenna’s side, but it remains to be seen whether Juventus will make a concrete approach to sign the Kosovo international this month.
The 27-year-old joined Ipswich in a deal worth a reported £15 million in total, signing a contract until the summer of 2028.
Christian Walton and Alex Palmer have both enjoyed stints as first-choice goalkeeper at Portman Road since Muric was displaced from the side.
Ipswich are third in the Championship table, two points outside the play-offs but with a game in hand.
Next up for McKenna’s side is a third round FA Cup at home to Blackpool on 10 January in a 3pm kick-off.

Muric made a number of errors when Ipswich were playing in the Premier League, and it came as no surprise when he lost his place.
But he is now performing quite well in Serie A, with Sassuolo in the top half of the table despite just gaining promotion back to the division.
If Juventus are keeping tabs on his progress, then that’s a big endorsement for how he is playing, and it should raise some eyebrows at Portman Road.
It’s unclear if a recall clause is available as part of his move to Italy, but it could be worth considering given the Championship side’s own uncertainties at goalkeeper.
