Ipswich Town host Swansea City in the Championship at Portman Road on Saturday, 28 February 2026, with the hosts protecting a play-off spot and the visitors looking to build on recent progress.
Ipswich Town have dominated the recent head-to-head, winning four of the past five meetings, including a 4-1 victory in November's reverse fixture.
The Tractor Boys beat Watford 2-0 on Tuesday after a 5-3 loss at Wrexham, having also won at Derby earlier in February. Swansea City arrive on the back of a 1-0 win over Bristol City and a 1-1 draw with Preston, a run that followed a 4-0 home win against Sheffield Wednesday.
Kieran McKenna is without Ashley Young, Conor Townsend, Leif Davis and Jaden Philogene through injury. That keeps the focus on Jack Clarke, the club's leading league scorer on 12, and Anis Mehmeti, who has nine goals and six assists. Swansea City miss Ricardo Almeida Santos, Adam Idah and Zeidane Inoussa. Zan Vipotnik leads the Championship scoring on 16, while Josh Tymon has seven assists.
The Tractor Boys have netted 56 and conceded 34, with 11 clean sheets and 56% possession across the season. Swansea City have scored and conceded 40, keep 55% of the ball and have 10 clean sheets. Both sides deliver plenty of open-play crosses, so wide service for Clarke and Vipotnik could be a clear route to goal, with set pieces less prominent for both.
A win would take the Tractor Boys to 60 points and further cement their play-off push. Swansea City would move to 49 points with victory and could edge towards the top half.
