Arsenal will look to maintain their dream of an unprecedented quadruple when Bayer Leverkusen visit the Emirates for the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie on Tuesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s side regained parity late on in last Wednesday’s first leg when Kai Havertz’s penalty cancelled out Robert Andrich’s opener.
Arsenal will now be looking to continue building momentum against their Bundesliga visitors by setting up a quarter-final against Bodo/Glimt or Sporting Lisbon.
The Gunners are on a high after 16-year-old Max Dowman inspired a late win over Everton on the weekend, taking the side nine points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Arsenal’s meeting with Bayer Leverkusen kicks off at 8pm GMT on Tuesday 17 March at Emirates Stadium.
Fans in the UK can watch the clash on TNT Sports 1, with coverage starting at 7pm GMT. The match can also be streamed on discovery+.
Arteta remains Mikel Merino owing to injury but could welcome back skipper Martin Odegaard, while Jurrien Timber is a doubt having limped off during Saturday’s win against Everton. Leandro Trossard may miss out because of a knock sustained in the first leg.
Leverkusen, meanwhile, arrive in north London without former Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken, Loic Bade, Lucas Vazquez and Arthur Augusto. Kasper Hjulmand’s team drew 1-1 at home to Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Arsenal XI: Raya; Mosquera, Gabriel, Saliba, Hincapie; Rice, Zubimendi; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli; Gyokeres.
