Luis Díaz remains a target for Al-Hilal. Although FC Bayern considers the Colombian player unsellable, speculation about a possible move to Saudi Arabia continues unabated. Now, new reports about the role of his agent are fueling discussion.
It has been known for several days that Al-Hilal wants to sign the Bayern star. Now, evidence is mounting that the top Saudi club is further intensifying its efforts.
According to the French newspaper L’Équipe , Luis Díaz is one of the club’s top transfer targets. The report states that Al-Hilal has already prepared an initial offer said to be worth around 70 million euros.
However, FC Bayern made it clear early on that a sale of the winger is not currently up for discussion. Díaz still has a contract in Munich through 2029, putting the German record champions in a comfortable negotiating position.
While L’Équipe reports that Díaz is generally open to a move to Saudi Arabia but is not actively pursuing a departure from Munich, media outlets in Saudi Arabia are going much further.
Transfer insider Abu Latifa claims that the Colombian has already given Al-Hilal a verbal commitment. Furthermore, his agent is reportedly currently trying to convince Bayern Munich officials to sell him.
However, this information has not yet been confirmed.
What is certain, however, is that Al-Hilal could offer the attacking player an exceptionally lucrative overall financial package.
According to reports from Saudi Arabia, Díaz stands to earn an annual salary of up to 25 million euros net. By comparison, the 29-year-old is currently said to earn around 14 million euros gross per season at FC Bayern. A move to the Saudi Pro League would thus significantly increase his earnings and make him one of the highest-paid attacking players in the league.
Nevertheless, there are currently no signs that the transfer is imminent.

According to information from Sky, a departure by Luis Díaz this summer is out of the question. The pay-TV network also reports that the Colombian has not yet requested a release from Bayern’s management.
Thus, the record champions’ position remains unchanged: Díaz is a central part of Vincent Kompany’s plans and is expected to play a key role in the offense again next season.
Nevertheless, it comes as no surprise that Al-Hilal is continuing its efforts. With his quality and international experience, Díaz is one of the most attractive wingers on the market.
It remains to be seen whether the Saudis will improve their offer in the coming weeks. As things stand, however, all signs point to FC Bayern sticking to its position and not letting the Colombian go—regardless of the sums offered by Saudi Arabia.
