Isaías Aberasturi appointed head coach of Deportivo Roca | OneFootball

Isaías Aberasturi, a two-time Liga del Valle champion, has been appointed head coach of Deportivo Roca’s senior side ahead of pre-season and the new domestic campaign.

According to SuperDepor.com, Club Social y Deportivo Roca, based in Rawson, introduced Aberasturi at a modest, emotional ceremony alongside his assistant, Martín Romero.

Club president Diego Soler said it was a source of pride to bring in a coach with extensive first-team experience and a successful track record, and he welcomed Romero back to the club.

Aberasturi described the role as a major challenge and praised the club’s leadership for its institutional work. He stressed he has come to work and insisted supporters would not be let down, while recognising the high bar set by Flavio Chacano.

Board member Lery Navarro also expressed satisfaction with the agreement and with Romero’s return. The new coaching team will now turn to preparations for the season.
