It’s Not Just Olise: These Bayern Stars Are Seeing a Significant Increase in Market Value | OneFootball

Even though no Bayern player made it to the 2026 World Cup final, a few players still had a very strong tournament. And that has become evident in hindsight, specifically in the updated market values that the Transfermarkt portal has now published. 

Specifically, this update focuses exclusively on the World Cup. One of the big winners was Michael Olise, whose market value rose from 150 million to 170 million euros.

With this, the Frenchman set an all-time record, as no Bundesliga player had ever been valued so highly. Erling Haaland, at 150 million euros, had previously shared the record with Olise.

Olise isn’t the only one benefiting from the market value adjustment

In general, it can be said that FC Bayern fared quite well in the market value adjustments following the World Cup. Three other players also saw their values increase.

Dayot Upamecano, who had a very strong tournament with France, rose from 70 to 75 million euros, thereby cementing his status as one of the best defenders in the world.

Nathaniel Brown benefited even more. His market value rose from 40 to 50 million euros. He was one of the few bright spots on the German national team, which was eliminated in the round of 32 by Paraguay. His transfer to Munich was made official during the World Cup, though Bayern had already laid the groundwork beforehand.

Another new signing for the record champions is Ismael Saibari. The market value of the Moroccan, now playing for FC Bayern, actually rose from 40 to 55 million euros. Among other goals, he scored against Brazil and converted the decisive penalty kick against the Netherlands to secure advancement. Bayern fans certainly have a lot to look forward to with him.
