Former Chelsea player Joe Cole has explained the ‘tough’ reason that he is worried about his former club right now in fresh quotes.
The news comes after Chelsea played out a boring 0-0 draw against Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon in what was another underwhelming performance.
Enzo Maresca frustrated Chelsea fans once again with a heavily rotated starting lineup in such an important game in the race for Champions League qualification, and then he annoyed them even more with some of the excuses he came out with after the game, even blaming the weather!
The Blues boss was also frustrated though, pointing out the fact that his attackers are currently not doing enough and has called for more goals from them all.
Maresca and his players must keep going now and onto the next game later this week in the Conference League as they look to try and win some silverware this season.
With Chelsea’s draw on Sunday, it can only be seen as dropped points, and Cole is worried about his former club.

Cole, speaking on The Dressing Room podcast, backed Manchester City to finish above Chelsea, with Forest in third and the Citizens in fourth.
However, the Stamford Bridge cult hero stressed that it’s so hard to predict, it may as well be “a flip of a coin”.
“I’m going to go Nottingham Forest third, Man City fourth,” Cole said.
“I’m worried about Chelsea, but it’s tough isn’t it.
“I’ve done the City one just because of the name more than anything. It’s a flip of a coin isn’t it.”
So it’s not clear if Cole has put Chelsea 5th or not, which of course would now get you in the Champions League as well, but he’s not putting them in the top four.
