ITV Sport’s World Cup 2026 punditry and commentary line-up has been confirmed with Ange Postecoglou and Juan Mata among the pundits joining household names including Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira for this summer’s tournament.
The broadcaster plans to cover 29 group stage matches during the tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico, which starts on 11 June and concludes on 19 July.
ITV Sport will be based by Brooklyn Bridge in New York throughout the tournament, with Mark Pougatch, Laura Woods and Semra Hunter presenting its coverage.
“I’ve got good memories of playing over there in 1994, it’ll be a fabulous place to watch the football,” Keane told ITV Sport at its launch. While fellow pundit Vieira added: “It’s one of the biggest competitions in the world, to make people understand in the US, how passionate we are, about soccer, as they call it, the passion of the game, the learning process over there, they want even more, it’ll be really interesting to interact with Americans and talk about the game we love.”
And Vieira also believes his country, France, are favourites to win: “This is the team to beat, they have the pace, mobility, strong defensively, and they're well managed by Deschamps, they're the favourite for the World Cup.” Here are the full list of commentators, pundits and presenters for ITV’s coverage:
