Jadon Sancho future in focus as Dortmund consider Aston Villa loanee | OneFootball

Jadon Sancho still has plenty at stake with Aston Villa this season, yet his next move may lead back to Germany with Borussia Dortmund in the frame.

"We’re currently looking at a lot of players and analysing them closely. We check whether they can make us better. We’re doing that with Jadon as well," said managing director Lars Ricken. He told Sport Bild. "Of course, we are looking for an offensive player who brings quality, can help us immediately, and doesn’t require an unrealistic transfer fee."

It has been rumoured that when his Manchester United contract ends in the summer, a free transfer to Dortmund could follow, which would mark a third spell with the club.

Sancho joined Villa on deadline day in the summer and has made 31 appearances, scoring one goal. He has been an important part of Unai Emery’s side, who are in the Europa League last eight and chasing a return to the Champions League.

Any decision over his next step remains open, with his current campaign at Villa still in full swing.
