Jeglertz named October’s WSL Manager of the Month | OneFootball

Congratulations to City head coach Andrée Jeglertz who has won October’s Barclays Women’s Super League Manager of the Month.

In what was his second straight nomination this season, the Blues boss fought off competition from London City Lionesses’ Jocelyn Procheur to win the award for the first time.

The Swede presided over an 100% record in the league across the month after we recorded dramatic wins over Arsenal and Liverpool.

Against the Gunners, goals from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Kerstin Casparij twice gave us the lead before Iman Beney’s euphoric 88th-minute winner secured a precious 3-2 win over the reigning European champions at the Joie Stadium.

City then followed this up with a 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield where we came from a goal down to collect three points thanks to strikes from Beney and Aoba Fujino.

The victories meant we extended our winning WSL streak to five consecutive which moved us to second in the table, one point behind league leaders, Chelsea.

So far this season, City have scored more goals than any other side in the English top flight (17) with nine different players contributing to that tally, which is also a WSL high in 2025/26 at present.
