Jhon Arias named in Colombia squad to face Croatia and France | OneFootball

Jhon Arias has been called up by Colombia for March friendlies, facing Croatia on 26 March and France on 29 March. The recently signed Palmeiras player makes the squad.

The federation announced the list for the internationals as part of preparations for upcoming challenges and the 2026 World Cup cycle.

In camp, Arias will join familiar faces for Palmeiras supporters, with Mina and Richard Ríos also in the Colombia set-up after notable spells at the club.

Arias has the World Cup as a primary target. That aim was among the reasons behind his move to Palmeiras, to be nearer the national team and perform at a high level.

Wearing number 11, he has played eight games and scored one goal for Palmeiras. The goal came against Botafogo at Allianz Parque on Wednesday 18 March, a 2-1 win for Palmeiras.
