Joao Gomes left out as Wolves face Burnley | OneFootball

Wolves made one change for their match against Burnley, with Joao Gomes left out on the final day of the season.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Brazilian is likely to join Atletico Madrid when the transfer window opens, with negotiations ongoing.

Rob Edwards altered the side that drew with Fulham by one, as Angel Gomes came in for J. Gomes in midfield.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde was also absent, and Edwards named a weak bench featuring two youngsters and four full-backs.

Academy defender Ethan Sutherland was included alongside 16-year-old midfielder Jerome Abbey, a Thomas Telford School pupil first named on the bench in February against Bournemouth at Molineux.
