Chelsea will face off against Leeds United at Wembley Stadium on Sunday as they look to secure a good result in the semifinals of the FA Cup. The Blues suffered a dismal 3-0 loss away at Brighton and Hove Albion recently, so they would be eager to put in a much-improved showing this weekend.

The West London club will set themselves up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and are expected to make some changes to their first team for this game. Joao Pedro could get the nod to lead the line for Chelsea up top, while Liam Delap makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Robert Sanchez will operate in goal for the Blues after he conceded three goals in his last appearance. Wesley Fofana will function alongside Trevoh Chalobah at the centre of the Chelsea backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive third of the pitch.

Malo Gusto will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella looks to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Tosin Adarabioyo will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo and Andrey Santos will anchor the midfield for the London club as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer will play just ahead of them as part of the Chelsea attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Blues are to secure a convincing win in the FA Cup this weekend.

Alejandro Garnacho and Romeo Lavia will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Joao Pedro will spearhead Chelsea‘s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Liam Delap will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages if needed.
