According to Glorioso 1904, Jude Bellingham sustained an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left leg and could miss Real Madrid’s Champions League play-off ties with Benfica, with a layoff of around a month suggested.
The midfielder pulled up during a sprint in the opening minutes against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday and was replaced by Brahim Díaz on 10 minutes.
No recovery timeframe was provided.
Real won the Spanish league match 2-1, with Vinícius Júnior scoring on 15 minutes and Kylian Mbappé converting a 90+10' penalty after Jorge De Frutos had equalised on 49 minutes for Rayo.
The first leg is scheduled for 17 February at the Luz, with the return on 25 February at the Santiago Bernabéu.
For the opener, Raúl Asencio and Rodrygo are suspended following red cards in the final league-phase game at the Luz, which Benfica won 4-2, while Éder Militão remains injured and is not an option for coach Álvaro Arbeloa.
