ESPN reports that Laspro, the court-appointed RCE administrator, has accepted Corinthians’ explanation for a R$ 149.2 million revenue discrepancy in February. The filing also notes advances of nearly R$ 47 million from Esportes da Sorte and R$ 23.75 million from Nike via Banco Daycoval, totalling R$ 70.7 million.

Laspro had flagged a gap after Corinthians told the court that R$ 64.2 million counted towards March’s instalment while overall February revenue was R$ 213.4 million. The club said R$ 76.9 million in financial operations, R$ 65.5 million in internal transfers and R$ 6.8 million from player deals were non-operational and should be excluded, a stance the administrator accepted.

Of the R$ 6.8 million from player negotiations, 20% must be reserved for reverse auctions using non-recurring funds. For February, the set-aside was calculated at R$ 1.365 million.

For March, Corinthians declared R$ 66.3 million in operational revenue across broadcast rights, sponsorship, advertising, membership, matchday, social club, arena, other receipts, and royalties and licensing. A further R$ 11.8 million was classed as ineligible, including R$ 8.5 million in financial operations and R$ 3.2 million from player deals, of which 20%, or R$ 645 thousand, would fund reverse auctions.

Laspro said the March figures rely on club declarations and may be revised, with any difference payable by Corinthians with correction. The opinion now awaits Judge Guilherme Cavalcanti Lamêgo of São Paulo’s Second Court, who will decide whether to validate the recommendations.
