Atlético Madrid star Julián Alvarez has sent a crystal clear message to his many suitors ahead of the summer transfer window.

The message in question? That the Argentine has one destination and one destination only in mind: Barcelona.

Frontman Alvarez has of course been linked with a whole host of leading clubs from across the continent over the last couple of months.

Amid the understanding that the former Manchester City man is eyeing a new challenge, the likes of Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and the aforementioned Barcelona have been credited with a serious interest in his signature.

If the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, though, then Alvarez has eyes for only one of his suitors.

As per a report from Diario Sport, citing English outlet TEAMtalk:

‘Julián Álvarez has closed the door to the Premier League and Ligue 1. The Argentine striker’s representatives have told both Arsenal and PSG to freeze any type of negotiation.’

The reason? Alvarez’s sole intention is to take to the pitch in the colours of Barcelona next season.
