Serie A giants Juventus are currently confident about signing Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo and are working towards a potential move.

Todibo has been linked with a move to Manchester United but due to the similarity in ownership of Nice and the Red Devils, the move has hit the rails.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Todibo is keen on a Juve move and he wants to reunite with Khephren Thuram at the Bianconeri. Thuram will undergo his Juve medical this week and will then complete the move and that is making Todibo feel keen on Juve.

It is stated that Nice’s deal with United all but done and the Red Devils had an offer of €40 million accepted. But UEFA regulations have made sure that the move didn’t go through.

With Riccardo Calafiori now out of Juve’s hands, Todibo is a key target and excellent relations with Nice could help in the switch. Juve are looking at an initial deal with the obligation to buy, with Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior said to be the alternative.
