Juventus deem Liverpool outcast Darwin Nunez as alternative to Frenchman Kolo Muani | OneFootball

Juventus have identified Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez as their ideal alternative signing to PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani.

Il Bianconero reports that the the Turin-based club have commenced discussions with Liverpool and the Uruguyan international’s agents in order to inquire for further information.

Whilst the priority remains to extend Kolo Muani’s stay following the end of his loan-spell to the Bianconeri from PSG last season, Juventus intend to keep their tabs open in order to reinforce the striker position.

As it stands, the former Benfica star is set to depart Liverpool after having an underwhelming three years with the London Reds.

The Premier League champions are seeking a hefty fee of €60m for the 26-year-old goal-scorer, which has caused both Italian clubs Milan and Napoli to decelerate within their pursuit of Nunez.

Given the high evaluation of Liverpool, Juventus could potentially consider providing an offer that would be in the form of loan with either an obligation or option to buy at the end of the season.
