PSG have shifted their strategy in recent transfer windows, focusing on long-term development rather than chasing headline signings. The focus has been on younger talent with room to grow.
One of the big additions this year was Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli, a lively attacking piece brought in to deepen an already youthful core. His arrival, along with Willian Pacho and João Neves, underscored how committed PSG are to building something that lasts.
During the summer, La Gazzetta dello Sport noted that agent Jorge Mendes met with the family of Turkish forward Kenan Yıldız, whose stock has climbed at Juventus. PSG, Manchester City, and Chelsea were said to be exploring the idea of making a move. Nothing came of it, but Yıldız remains on the radar of several major clubs across Europe.

Amid the rumors linking Yıldız away from the Serie A side, Juventus’ Head of Football Operations Giorgio Chiellini spoke about the player and did his best to put out the speculation.
“We are working on new deal for Kenan Yıldız, so keep calm,” Chiellini said (h/t Fabrizio Romano). “The intention from all sides is the same; we plan to continue together.”
CaughtOffside recently reported that representatives for Yildiz are pushing for a salary close to €6 million per year, a figure Juventus view as too high under their current financial plan and wage structure.
The club, already working within tight budget limits as they reshape their squad for the long term, have put talks on pause. With interest in the young forward growing across Europe, Juventus now face a clear decision: meet those terms or risk losing one of the brightest attacking prospects they’ve brought through in years.
Even with negotiations on hold, the club maintains that Yildiz remains central to their plans. Sporting leadership see him as a long-term anchor in their attack, and the report notes that Juventus would seek more than €100 million before even entertaining a sale, a number meant to match his potential and the rising interest from major European clubs.
