Now that the World Cup is over, it’s reported Emiliano Martinez is ready to push Aston Villa into selling him to Juventus, with personal terms already agreed.
It was known that the goalkeeper would wait until the tournament had been completed in the USA, Canada and Mexico, and his team went all the way to extra time in the Final.
Despite a series of big saves to keep them in it, 10-man Argentina eventually capitulated 1-0 to Spain last night with a Ferran Torres strike.

Now Emi Martinez is on his way back to Europe and can focus on the next step in his club career, which could well be at Juventus.
La Gazzetta dello Sport insist that now is the time ‘Dibu’ will try to push Aston Villa into letting him leave for this Serie A adventure.

It’s reported Juventus have offered a loan with obligation to buy for a total €6.5m, but that the Premier League side want closer to €10m to let him go.
Martinez has already agreed personal terms with the Old Lady for a three-year contract worth €5m per season wages plus performance-related bonuses.
His current deal with Aston Villa runs to June 2029 and he turns 34 in September.
