Juventus have joined the race to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea and are keen on a loan deal for the forward.
Jackson has spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Bayern Munich, who have confirmed the club will not trigger a purchase option in the agreement.
The Senegal striker has scored 10 goals in 30 appearances during a season spent largely as support for Harry Kane. Bayern have decided to pursue alternative options this summer.
The player’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, has said Jackson is focused on a successful end to the season with treble-chasing Bayern before a decision is made on his future.
“Nico is having an excellent season with 28 matches played, 10 goals,” he said last week.
“African champion, German champion and also qualified for the (cup) final. Bayern Munich did not want to activate the buy option, and Nico remains 100% focused on the Champions League semi-final against PSG, a very important moment for him and for the club.
“Bayern is a very big institution; the most important thing is to win as many trophies as possible by the end of the season. The future, who can predict it? Trust the process, everything is possible”.
Sky Sports are reporting that Juventus and AC Milan are both considering approaches. The former are planning an overhaul at centre-forward, with last summer’s recruits, Jonathan David and Lois Openda, having struggled to make an impact. Dusan Vlahovic is also out of contract and set to leave Turin as a free agent.
Alongside the Serie A sides, there is interest in Jackson from England. Newcastle and Aston Villa have both been linked with approaches.
